For the last 20 years I’ve worked with students of all ages and backgrounds on nearly all school subjects, including enrichment classes. I have a bachelor's degree in English literature from the University of Wisconsin at Madison and I tutor grades K-College.

My tutoring style:

I love to take whatever approach works best for a particular student - even non-traditional, creative methods. There is no one-size-fits-all. I’ve taught from prepared curriculum and have developed my own - but either way - it works best when one can build a connection with students and tailor the material to their unique learning style. And having fun helps too!

Success story:

It’s hard to choose just one! I consider all my students successful when we work together to meet their goals and push past their challenges. It’s wonderfully rewarding to have a student who previously professed to “hating” a subject convert to “loving” that very same subject after working together.

Hobbies and interests:

I love dogs (I train working Border Collies), trail and ultramarathon running, yoga and all things outdoors. I also enjoy reading, listening to podcasts on a myriad of subjects and watching movies.
