I have over 15 years of experience teaching and tutoring various levels of mathematics. I have a Masters in Mathematics from California State University Fullerton and a B.A. in Mathematics Education from Brigham Young University. I tutor grades 7-College.

My Tutoring Style:

I am passionate about teaching mathematics! I get to know my students so I can understand how they learn and what they need to succeed. I am patient and have the ability to explain  the concepts in a way that is easy to understand.

Success Story:

One memorable success story was a student whose mother came to me, desperate to help her son pass his math class. He needed to pass in order to go to the university where he had been accepted, but he was failing. When we first started meeting he was unmotivated and apathetic towards math. But as we developed a rapport and worked together he developed confidence in his ability! He achieved his goal and gained more enthusiasm towards math! He was able to attend the university where he had been accepted… with a newfound optimism about his capabilities.

Hobbies & Interests:

Beyond teaching math, I love surfing, snowboarding, wakeboarding, hiking, and playing soccer. I really enjoy sports and outdoor adventures.
