Leen is a mathematics graduate student at Tufts University pursuing both her BS and MS in Mathematics. With over five years of tutoring experience, she has helped students succeed in mathematics courses ranging from pre-algebra to college-level calculus, as well as standardized exams such as the SAT and ACT. One of my favorite tutoring success stories involves a student I worked with over several years, supporting her through SAT and ACT preparation as well as advanced mathematics coursework. When we first met during her sophomore year of high school, she was struggling in Precalculus and earning a C in the class. As we developed stronger study habits, problem-solving strategies, and the critical thinking and pacing skills needed for standardized tests, her confidence began to grow.Over time, she progressed from Precalculus through Calculus, consistently earning A's in her math courses and approaching challenging concepts with confidence. We also worked together on college essays and the admissions process, and it was incredibly rewarding to watch her mature into a thoughtful, hardworking young woman.Today, she attends a highly selective university studying business. Her journey remains one of the most meaningful experiences of my tutoring career and serves as a reminder that strong foundations, effective test-taking strategies, and long-term mentorship can open doors to extraordinary opportunities.

Hobbies & Interests

When I'm not tutoring, I enjoy swimming, solving Rubik's cubes, painting, and watching sitcoms and anime. As a mathematics graduate student, I also genuinely enjoy exploring advanced math topics and working through textbooks, proofs, and interesting problems purely for fun. I love activities that combine creativity, logic, and lifelong learning, and I often bring that same enthusiasm and curiosity into my tutoring sessions.
