I am a certified teacher with almost two decades of experience teaching students math in middle and high schools. I have a bachelor's degree from the University of California, Riverside, a master's degree from the University of Redlands, and have almost completed a doctorate at Pepperdine University. I tutor middle school and high school.

Tutoring Style

Math is not a dreaded four-letter word. I am enthusiastic about teaching math. I take a concept someone has already explained and put my own spin on it to get my student to understand. We are in this together and keep at it until those light bulbs go off.

Success Story

One of my success stories is helping a high school senior pass his Algebra class so he could graduate with his peers. He was several grades below grade level in math. Through working together to get him caught up on major concepts, he showed significant growth and walked across that stage on time.
