I am a certified teacher with ten years of experience teaching engineering and mathematics courses. I have tutored for five years in engineering, mathematics, and Spanish. I have a PhD in mechanical and aerospace engineering, and I tutor grade 1 through adults.

Tutoring Style

I love teaching groups and individually, and I love mathematics and STEM topics. I adapt my pace to the needs of each student, and I try for the tutoring sessions to be interactive as I want each student to feel that they are capable of solving problems with me before moving on to new topics.

Success Story

One of my favorite success stories is helping a student who was struggling in his Algebra 1 class. We met in person once or twice a week for the rest of the year, and he went from not passing the course, to passing with a B, and passing the mandatory state EOC (end of course) algebra assessment.

Hobbies & Interests

I like spending time with my daughter, cooking, spending time with cats (I have four, and we volunteer at the local Humane Society), and learning about K-Pop Demon Hunters with my daughter and her friends.
