I have taught and tutored students from Kindergarten to College for the past 6 years, giving me a wide array of experience in the field of education. I earned my bachelors degree in Mathematics from Arizona State University.

Tutoring Style

As a tutor, I try to make sure that my tutoring style adapts to the student I am interacting with. In my experience, everyone has a different way of learning, so I always enjoy learning what works best with each student. Before moving to another problem with a student, I always review and then have the student explain the steps in their own words to make sure they fully understand the problem.

Success Story

One of my biggest joys while tutoring someone is when they have their "aha" moment. One specific instance occurred when I was helping a student with statistics. She was struggling with each concept relating to probability, but eventually we arrived to a solution to one specific problem that led to a jump in her understanding of the concept. She came back at the end of the semester to let me know that my helped her pass statistics with a B.
