I am a math tutor with experience teaching students from kindergarten to adult learners. I graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso with a Bachelor's in Computer Science and a minor in Mathematics. I have a special interest in playing and developing video games.

My tutoring style:

I am a passionate and patient tutor, showing my students different ways of solving problems if I see them struggling. Finding the best practice that fits the individual student is very important to me. I review the student's process step by step to pinpoint what topics require the most practice.

Success story:

I tutored a student in high school who was struggling in her geometry class. She had failed an exam after studying extensively. As we reviewed the subject, it became clear that she was trying to memorize the steps without understanding the overall concepts. After meeting a few times before her next exam, she was able to pass the exam and felt much more confident finishing the class.

Hobbies and interests:

I have an interest in video games, specifically one player experiences. I have recently rekindled my fascination in Pokémon. I also spend time expanding my coding skills by researching different languages including some game development.
