I’ve been an online educator since 2017, teaching English as a Second Language, reading, math, and science to students from Pre-K through 7th grade. I hold a bachelor’s degree from Clarion University of Pennsylvania and also coach basketball and softball. My greatest strength is inspiring children to enjoy the learning process, helping them grow in both skills and confidence.

My tutoring style:

Teaching is my passion! With a positive, energetic approach, I meet students right where they are in their learning, reinforcing what they know and guiding them toward new skills. My goal is to help every child feel successful and excited about learning. 

In math, I start by understanding exactly where a student is in their learning journey. From there, we review important concepts and build step-by-step, creating a strong foundation that gives them confidence and lasting skills. 

In English Language Arts, I start by understanding where a student is in their reading and writing skills. From there, we review key concepts and build step-by-step, creating a strong foundation that boosts their confidence and fosters a lifelong love of language.

In science, I begin by finding out what a student already understands and feels confident about. From there, we review important concepts and explore new ideas step-by-step, building a strong foundation that sparks curiosity and a genuine love for discovery.

Success story:

One of my most memorable students was a young girl from China whom I taught English as a Second Language for four and a half years. After just a year of lessons, she began entering English competitions—and each time, she placed higher than before. Her hard work and determination eventually took her to a national competition for her English skills. We still keep in touch, and I cherish the friendship I’ve built with her and her family.

Hobbies and interests:

I love sports. I played basketball in college and now I coach. I have coached soccer, basketball, softball and football. I love being outdoor and traveling.
