I have been a university faculty member in mathematics for more than a decade. I teach a variety of college mathematics and programming classes. I have a PhD from Louisiana Tech University and I tutor grades 9-College.

My tutoring style:

I get to know my students by understanding their background and what they hope to gain from their tutoring experience. I go slow and interact with my students throughout the session to ensure they understand well before moving on.

Success story:

My greatest tutoring success story is my first tutoring experience. A young student came to me for help twice a week. He worked hard and after a few weeks his grades improved dramatically.

Hobbies and interests:

Reading, traveling, watching women's basketball, going to my children's events.
