Tutoring Style

I am passionate about math for all types of learners. I adapt my teaching style to the needs of a student after getting to know how their way of thinking. I support students by connecting one concept to the next so that math can be realized as a continued story.

Success Story

One of my favorite success stories was helping a student realize that they actually enjoyed math! They came into the school year hating math, but they really just hadn't had the right teacher or experience. By the end of their 6th grade year, math was their favorite subject. This brought both of us so much joy!
