I have been tutoring since 2017 and hold both an undergraduate and graduate degree in Computer Science. I have experience teaching in both traditional and online classroom settings, allowing me to effectively support students in a variety of learning environments. I primarily tutor math, computer science, physics, chemistry, and economics. I have also worked with students around the world, including those in Argentina, China, and the United Kingdom, giving me experience supporting learners from diverse educational backgrounds and cultures.

Tutoring Style

My tutoring style centers on building genuine understanding, not just getting to the right answer. I meet each student where they are, breaking down complex concepts into clear, manageable steps and adjusting my pace based on how they learn and process the material. I believe confidence grows through mastery, so I incorporate plenty of practice, positive reinforcement, and encouragement, celebrating small victories along the way. Ultimately, my goal is to make challenging concepts approachable, engaging, and enjoyable, so students leave each session feeling confident and prepared to tackle future challenges.

Success Stories

One of my favorite tutoring success stories involved a college algebra student who had fallen behind after their instructor changed in the middle of the semester. Together, we shifted our focus to building a strong conceptual foundation through a structured learning approach and a consistent schedule of tutoring sessions. As the student's understanding grew, so did their independence, confidence, and ability to solve problems efficiently. By the end of the semester, they had improved their grade from a D to an A-.

Another memorable experience was working with a student in an introductory programming course whose goal was to secure their first software engineering internship, despite having no prior professional experience. Over the course of 12 weeks, we strengthened their programming fundamentals and developed their ability to confidently solve data structures and algorithms problems. By the end of our time together, the student had received multiple offers for their first software engineering internship, a rewarding outcome that reflected both their hard work and the confidence they had built along the way.

Hobbies & Interests

I enjoy building LEGO sets, hiking in national parks, and following Formula One. I also have a passion for art and enjoy visiting art galleries around the world whenever I have the opportunity.
