I am a certified teacher with 14 years of experience teaching mathematics at the high school level. I have tutored students in math for the past 16 years for grades 5 up to adult learners in college. I have a master's degree in educational leadership and administration from Montclair State University and I tutor grades 9-College.

I am an enthusiastic teacher where my passion for mathematics is very contagious. I love teaching students loop holes, patterns and tricks to help them remember complex facts. I am more about teaching students how to think instead of what to think. Rote learning and memorization definitely have a place in mathematics, however when my tutees learn how to think they can attack any problem thrown their way; especially on test day.

One of my favorite success stories is when I had a college student struggling in her precalculus course to where she was taking it for a second time. The root of her struggle was understanding the unit circle and how to apply it towards homework assignments and assessments. I taught her the pattern that is on the circle and how she could use her left hand to remember everything about it. She became so confident in knowing it that she later went on to show her peers who struggled with it. She was also able to pass every quiz and test that incorporated it raising her C- to an A. To date she is a teacher of precalculus and teaches her students the same strategy and pattern of the unit circle. She tells me that she is the only teacher that students want to take for that course due to the patterns she teaches that she learned from my tutoring her.

I love spending time with my family like bringing my daughter to the park.

I love to jigsaw but they must be puzzles I can either frame or gift.

I love gaming online - mostly puzzle games like solitaire.

I am a huge tv buff so I love to binge watch movies and tv series. I like psychological thrillers and drama the most
