I am an alumni of St. John's University where I studied physical sciences and psychology. I am a prospective medical school applicant and I hope to become a physician one day. I tutor grades 6-College.

My tutoring style:

I approach tutoring with the idea of Vygotsky's zone of proximal development. I believe that students have a potential that they can reach with help, and I will do my best to ensure they reach that.

Success story:

I used to have a pair of students that would see me every week for an entire year of college chemistry. They started with absolutely no idea how to approach the concept, and after the year of tutoring, they said they had learned everything they needed for their finals. They asked if I would be available for their next year's chemistry course.
