I am an experienced elementary educator with more than five years of experience in classrooms teaching math and ELA. I have a bachelor's and master's degree from the University of Connecticut. I am available to tutor grades K - 5.

My tutoring style:

I am an enthusiastic and passionate teacher. I enjoy building relationships with my students and centering my tutoring around their needs and interests. I am patient and work to reinforce topics until students reach mastery.

Success story:

One of my favorite success stories was when I tutored a first-grader who was performing well behind his classmates and on track to repeat the grade. I worked with him and his family three times a week. I met him where he was at, while simultaneously introducing new skills and challenging him. By the end of the year his academics had severely improved and he was ultimately promoted to the second grade!
