I am a former engineer turned educator. I have been working with students for over a decade in math, chemistry, physics, biology, Spanish, and test prep. I have a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from the University of Colorado, Boulder and I tutor grades 2-College.

My tutoring style:

I have a passion for education and am an expert at creating a personalized experience for my students. I pride myself on being a tutor of the highest level while still being a friend to all of my students. I look forward to helping all of my students achieve academic success.

Success story:

One of my favorite success stories started with a struggling dyslexic student in his Algebra course. I have worked with him for 6 years, having to really break down topics over and over so he could fully grasp the concepts and rebuild his foundations. Today I am working with him in his Calculus 3 course and other advanced science courses as he pursues a degree in engineering.

Hobbies and interests:

When I am not tutoring, I am in the mountains. I rock climb, backcountry snowboard, mountaineer, mountain bike, forage for wild edible and medicinal plants, and just generally explore. I am also an avid drummer who plays music with friends and seeks out live music.
