I have been teaching math to students online in grades 6-12. I have experience in-person doing volunteer work in high school teaching web programming. I have a bachelor's in Computer Science.

Tutoring Style:

I am passionate in teaching math and I like to engage the student. I like to ask questions to see if the student understands the problem. If the student does not understand any part I am doing, I will go back and redo it another way for student to understand. I like to give them similar problems at the end to see if they understood and if not I would repeat the process.

Success Story:

I helped one of my classmate in math 104. The class was an Algebra class and the classmate did not quite understand the professor. I asked to help and every time class was over, I would go to the library with her and help out with the questions she had. I was able to help her be successful and join the Nursing program. She got an A in the semester because of me helping her.
