I am a certified teacher with 18 years of classroom experience teaching math in both middle school and high school. I hold a bachelor's degree from the University of Southeastern Philippines, a master's degree from the University of Mindanao, and 39 units toward a PhD from Bukidnon State University in the Philippines. Additionally, I have been tutoring middle and high school students since 2020.

Tutoring Style

I am a passionate mathematics educator dedicated to helping students build confidence and strong foundational skills with numbers. My teaching relies on the "I Do, We Do, You Do" strategy, which allows me to clearly model new concepts, guide students through guided practice together, and carefully assess their independent mastery. To ensure long-term retention and seamless learning, I always begin each session with a spiral review of previous topics before introducing new material.

Success Stories

One of my favorite success stories is when I tutored a high school honors student in South Carolina who was taking Statistics. He shared that he was struggling with a certain topic, but he understood it clearly once I simplified the concept for him. After taking his exam, he earned the second-highest score in his entire class.
