I am a passionate educator with 7 years of experience, I have taught mainly Math, Business subjects, and computer-related subjects like coding. I have taught from 3rd grade to post-graduate students. I will be getting my Doctorate by the end of this year.
I also prepare students for Math Competitions like AMC and the Olympiad, as well as AP Pre-Calculus ( I have Instructor Certificate from College Board in it) , AP Statistics , AP Micro and Macro Economics.
I love teaching, but I am also a lifelong learner. I usually teach subjects that I know very well, and I always work at the level of my students. My philosophy in teaching is "no one left behind." I always strive to find a way to ensure that all my students understand and apply what I am teaching. I focus on building comprehension and expression.
I meet the students where they are. If they want to get a 5 in an AP test, I will help them do that and if they want to clear the final test, with a passing grade, I will help them do that.
A student I worked with was struggling with linear equations and word problems. They felt overwhelmed trying to convert real-world language into equations. I broke the process down into repeatable steps and practiced with real-life examples that connected to the student’s interests. Within a month, the student went from scoring 40% to 85% on their school tests.
One of my high school students had trouble grasping geometric proofs and often got stuck identifying which theorem or property to use. I developed a strategy-based approach where we categorized problem types and practiced identifying the right tools for each. By the end of the term, the student was solving problems independently and earned an A in their final assessment.
A first-year engineering student was ready to drop Calculus due to poor performance and low confidence. I diagnosed that their challenge was not Calculus itself, but gaps in foundational algebra and limits. We worked on strengthening those basics and gradually built up to derivatives and integrals using graphical and real-world interpretations. By the end of the semester, they scored in the top 20% of their class—and went on to take Calculus II with enthusiasm.
I play Chess, and I teach Chess as well.
