I am a certified teacher with over ten years of experience helping students succeed in math and literacy. I hold a master’s degree in education and have worked with learners in grades 3–9, supporting both in-person and online instruction. I focus on building confidence, problem-solving skills, and a love of learning in every student I tutor.

I am a patient and encouraging tutor who strives to make learning engaging and accessible for every student. I tailor my teaching style to each learner’s needs, whether that means breaking concepts into smaller steps or providing enrichment for advanced students. I focus on building both understanding and confidence, using interactive strategies and real-world examples to reinforce lessons. I regularly review material with students to ensure mastery and help them feel proud of their progress.

Success Story

One of my favorite success stories is when I worked with a 6th-grade student who was struggling with fractions and ratios. After several weeks of targeted, hands-on lessons and interactive practice, he began to grasp the concepts and gained confidence in solving problems on his own. By the end of the semester, he not only raised his test scores from the 60s to the mid-90s but also started volunteering to help classmates who were struggling. Seeing his excitement about math and his pride in his progress was incredibly rewarding.

Hobbies & Interests

When I’m not tutoring, I enjoy photography and capturing moments from everyday life as well as special events. I also love horseback riding, spending time outdoors, and connecting with animals. These hobbies allow me to relax, be creative, and stay active, and I enjoy sharing my interests with students who have similar passions.
