Stacey

I am a certified teacher with two decades of experience in classrooms teaching Science, Biology, Forensic Science and Anatomy. I have a bachelor's degree in Biology from Siena College and a masters degree in Education from the University of Rhode Island.

Tutoring Style

I am a patient teacher, passionate about the topics I teach. I am currently taking some college classes as well so I can relate to the student's perspective. I review topics as much as necessary until a student has mastered them as well.

Success Story

One of my favorite success stories is when I helped a high school student not only pass but do exceedingly well in her Biology class. She came to me half way through the semester struggling severely in her class, we met 3 times a week for the rest of the semester and she was able to raise her grade from a D- to an A-! She went on to graduate with honors and pursue a college degree.

Hobbies & Interests

When I am not tutoring I am taking classes to pursue a Nursing degree. I also enjoy hiking with my dogs and son. We also love the beach in the summer and skiing in the winter.
