I have taught mathematics in the classroom and as a tutor for over 25 years. I have three college degrees in the field of education and I love tutoring from grade 3 to adult!

Tutoring Style

My tutoring style is built on making a connections with the learner. From there we can find out together what they need in terms of learning styles and instruction. Teaching is an important job but that doesn't mean you have to always be super serious. The best learning can occur when you are having a good time!

Success Stories

My greatest tutoring success stories came from when we were all doing virtual learning during the pandemic. That's when I found the power that connections can still make even if you are just teaching online. A student must know first that they are cared for before they will accept meaningful instruction. My students that I tutored during that time went from being anxious and distant to engages and successful!

Hobbies & Interests

I am a life long coach. I have coached high school football, basketball, and track. I finally won my first state championship as a head Coach in basketball this season! I know the time demands and challenges of being a student athlete. I love all types of learners, but athletes always have a special place in my heart!
