I am a dedicated math tutor with 4 years experience as a college Teaching Assistant and 5 years experience as a private math tutor. I tutor from 8th grade through high level college courses and have a bachelor's degree in theoretical math from the University of Texas at Austin.

My tutoring style:

I am a relatable tutor that helps students feel comfortable asking questions and learning as much as they can. I always start slowly and help build the foundation to make sure students have a solid footing before tackling more difficult problems. I use my high level math experience to help give extra examples and make sure students understand the problems conceptually and not just the methods for solving the questions.

Success story:

I had a high school senior holding a C- in their AP Calculus AB Class. We met twice a week and I suggested extra practice problems and study materials to help the student get back on track. She brought her grade up to an A- by the end of the term and also got a 4 on the AP Calculus AB test.
