I am a certified teacher with more than 15 years experience tutoring students in grades K through 6th grade in the areas of English, Math, Science, and English as a second language (ESL). I have a Master’s degree in Education from Nazareth College.

Tutoring Style:

I love teaching and I try to bring that enthusiasm to my students. I follow my students pace of learning but also challenge them. I believe students do well if they have prior knowledge or experience on a subject matter. I make sure students feel confident in the skill being taught before moving on.

Success Story:

One of my success stories is when my student was struggling with PEMDAS. We worked on it for many weeks and one week his classroom teacher reported how well he did on a final exam and how she saw his confidence improve over the weeks. It made me feel proud for my student. He did it with hard work and support.
