With more than 25 years of experience in science education and over a decade of online tutoring experience, I bring a broad and practical background in teaching, curriculum development, and individualized instruction. I have worked with students from middle school through college and have taught a wide range of science subjects, including Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Environmental Science, Anatomy & Physiology, Microbiology, and Earth Science.

Tutoring Style

I believe effective tutoring goes beyond simply providing answers. My goal is to help students understand the material, build confidence, and develop strong problem-solving skills so they can become more independent learners. I enjoy breaking challenging concepts into manageable pieces, connecting new material to concepts students already understand, and adapting my approach to each student's individual needs.

Whether a student needs support preparing for an exam, understanding a difficult concept, completing an assignment, or building a stronger foundation in science, I bring enthusiasm, patience, and extensive teaching and tutoring experience to every session.

Success Stories

Over the years, one of the most rewarding parts of being an educator has been watching students transform academically, build confidence, and achieve goals they once thought were out of reach. I have had the privilege of seeing students overcome challenging science courses, strengthen their study and problem-solving skills, improve their academic performance, and ultimately gain admission to colleges and pursue careers they once dreamed about.

Every student's path to success looks different. Some students grasp concepts quickly, while others must work through setbacks, frustration, or gaps in foundational knowledge before they begin to see progress. I remind my students that struggling with a subject does not define their potential. With patience, consistent effort, and the right support, they can make tremendous progress. Watching students go from feeling overwhelmed by difficult material to approaching it with confidence and independence is incredibly rewarding. Most importantly, I encourage every student to believe in their abilities, persevere through challenges, and never give up on the goals they have set for themselves.

Hobbies & Interests

I enjoy spending time outdoors and participating in all kinds of athletic activities. I’m always up for a new challenge and enjoy staying active, trying new things, and pushing myself outside of my comfort zone.
