I have been tutoring students in Mathematics and Test Prep since graduating in 2023. I hold a bachelor’s degree from Williams College, where I studied Mathematics and Studio Art. I enjoy helping students build strong problem-solving skills and develop the confidence needed to succeed both in the classroom and on standardized exams.
I approach tutoring with empathy and acceptance, meeting students where they are in their learning journey. I understand that math can be emotionally challenging, and many students come in feeling frustrated or lacking confidence. My goal is not only to guide students through specific problems, but also to help them develop the mental and emotional skills needed to navigate struggle, manage frustration, and persevere through difficult material. By building both understanding and resilience, I aim to help students become more confident and independent learners.
One of my recent success stories involved working with a student to improve both her Algebra grade and her overall confidence in math. We met three times a week, and she quickly began to see improvements in her quiz and test scores. Even more rewarding was watching her develop a sense of pride in her abilities. As her confidence grew, she began sharing her successes from class with me and approached new challenges with a much more positive mindset. Moments like these remind me that tutoring is about more than grades—it's about helping students recognize their own potential.
In my free time, I enjoy painting, making videos, playing guitar, attending live music events, and playing video games. Even better, I love sharing those experiences with friends and making memories together.
