I am an astrophysicist who has been tutoring math and physical sciences since 2023. I have my PhD in space sciences from Florida Institute of Technology.

Tutoring Style

I generally like to assist people in areas of study they're struggling with to shore up their abilities and confidence. I usually do this through working problems, either from their homework or other sources, as I believe that practice makes perfect. With math, I had a high school student who could only communicate via phone, yet I was able to walk him through algebra and geometry problems to the point that he was able to pass his math class.

Success Story

I had one student who was taking introductory-level physics in college and he was struggling to get past a 50% in the class. Over the course of the semester, working with him brought him from failing to passing, and I continued to work with him and helped him pass his second semester of the class as well.

Hobbies & Interests

I greatly enjoy playing video games, particularly ones that make me think. I'm also a fairly avid reader of fiction, particularly science fiction. Finally, though I have fewer opportunities to engage in it, I enjoy playing board games, particularly complex ones.
