I have over a decade of experience tutoring mathematics for grades 5-College. I have extensive experience tutoring neuro-diverse students. I am a graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. I explain math concepts in different ways to reach the student where they are and to bridge knowledge gaps.

My tutoring style:

I try to restate math concepts in different ways because different people need to hear different groupings of words to understand the concepts.

Success story:

I once helped a high school senior pass her math end of course exam. She had already failed it twice, and only had one attempt left. After working together for a couple of months, she passed the exam and became the first person in her family to graduate high school!

Hobbies and interests:

My hobbies include gardening, furniture refinishing, making trinkets out of polymer clay, writing poetry, practicing qigong, & watching TV with my Chihuahua Poppy.
