I am a mathematics and science tutor with experience working with children and adults. I have tutored for executive functioning and test preparation as well. I have a bachelor's degree in biology and a master's degree in education.

Tutoring Style

I am an energetic and empathetic person, enthusiastic about math and science. I understand these subjects can be difficult for many and prioritize positive reinforcement to boost confidence. I mix a bit of guided practice with independent practice to ensure my students can gain confidence. I make sure to emphasize that anyone can learn any subject with the right approach and support.

Success Stories

A student came to me halfway through the semester struggling in statistics, with several missing assignments and a grade of just 60%. We worked together to catch up on missing work, strengthen their understanding of key concepts, and build better study habits. By the end of the semester, the student raised their grade to a 79%, meeting the minimum grade required for admission into the nursing program. It was incredibly rewarding to see their hard work pay off and know that they were able to stay on track toward their career goals.

Hobbies & Interests

I have two cats who I love to cuddle with! I also enjoy playing video games and working out at the gym. Some other hobbies of mine include chatting with friends, cooking (and eating!) new foods, and reading.
