I intuitively try to find the simplest way to understand an idea. I focus on providing general problem-solving methods and instilling a passion for learning in the process. I have a bachelor’s degree in economics from Cornell University and I tutor grades 1-College.

My tutoring style:

Adaptive with a focus on conceptual understanding through illustrative examples. Spaced repetition and an emphasis on situational awareness and development of general problem-solving skills rather than memorization of solutions.

Success story:

I was able to help a student in the business program at FIU who was struggling with business calculus having a D average. If he did not pass the course with a B or better he would be kicked out of the program. Despite having ADHD and mild dyslexia, I was able to work with the student for several months and he managed to pass the class with a B.

Hobbies and interests:

Chess, investing, swimming, track and field, futurism, traveling, astrophysics, artificial intelligence
