I am a certified teacher with 5 years of experience teaching elementary students. I have a bachelor's degree in education from Cal Baptist University and I tutor grades 1-5.

My tutoring style:

I am passionate about supporting student learning. I do my best to adapt my teaching strategies to meet the needs of individual students. The goal is to see growth overtime with any student I work with.

Success story:

One of my favorite success stories is when I was working with one of my 4th grade students. She was struggling with multiplication and dreaded math time during her school day. We slowly covered patterns within the multiplication chart, worked on different strategies to make multiplication more understanding and reviewed grade level concepts. At the end of our tutoring session, she was confident, started to understand multiplication in real world scenarios, and continued to make connections overtime.

Hobbies and interests:

If I’m not supporting students, I am at the gym, playing soccer, or watching movies. I like to spent time alone at the gym and play soccer once a week. I also enjoy watching action or comedy movies
