I am a certified mathematics and science teacher with more than a decade of experience in classrooms and online teaching. I have a bachelor's degree from Cornerstone University and a master's degree from Western Michigan University, and I enjoy teaching and tutoring all levels of mathematics for all levels of learners.

My tutoring style:

I am a positive and encouraging teacher, and I have a passion for helping students develop confidence in their math skills. This confidence is built through modeling, positive reinforcement, and a gradual-release method of instruction. I adapt my teaching style to meet the needs of each student and continue reviewing the content until mastery has been achieved.

Success story:

One of my favorite success stories is when I tutored a high school student who was struggling in her math class and had little confidence in her math skills. We met twice a week throughout the remainder of the school year. She passed her math class with an A, developed her math skills, and became confident in herself and her mathematical reasoning and computation.

Hobbies and interests:

My hobbies include: playing sports, doing yoga, taking trips to the beach, cooking, and watching cooking shows, Marvel movies, Star Wars, or Disney movies.
