I am an experienced SAT tutor with 6 years of experience tutoring the SAT remotely across both the math and English sections. I have a Bachelor's degree in Writing Seminars and Film & Media Studies from Johns Hopkins University.

Tutoring Style

I am incredibly humorous and sarcastic. I make it a point to try to see everything from the student's perspective, and it's imperative that I connect with the student on a personal level so they fully believe I have their best interests in mind. I have a very casual and approachable style in contrast with the strict and authoritarian teachers I had in the past, a style that I find to be entirely ineffective. However, I still have incredibly high expectations for my students and make it clear that I expect them to give 100%.

Success Stories

My greatest success is helping a student go from a 1320 to a 1560 on the SAT over the course of a summer. The student came in as a sophomore and was extremely bright but had no idea how to approach the test. By meeting once a week for several months, he was able to not only master the material but learn the test inside and out, to the point where he became the first and only student I ever recommended should consider becoming an SAT tutor himself.

Hobbies & Interests

I am a fairly successful comedian on TikTok (280k followers). I enjoy acting in theatrical productions, playing and making music, and reading. I'm also very interested in politics.
