I am a PA certified teacher for 7-12th grades. I have been tutoring online and in-person since 2014 and have over 10 years of experience. I have a bachelor's degree from Albright College in mathematics and chemistry. I tutor 7th grade through college level content.

Tutoring Style

I am very passionate about math but understand not everyone loves it the same way I do. I try to break down math as many ways as I can to help students understand content they might be struggling with. I like to help students understand where different formulas come from and understand them better than just memorizing everything. My teaching style varies depending on the student's needs and understanding.

Success Story

One of my favorite success stories is helping a student improve their SAT score which helped them improve their grades in school as well. They were preparing to take the SAT after taking the PSAT and were not happy with their original score and wanted to improve. Through the work we did this student started to truly understand the material they were missing when they took the PSAT, but they were also able to apply this further understanding to their classes in school to improve their grades. Not only did they boost their SAT score and their grades, they developed a better understanding of mathematics and how the different courses are connected.
