I am an academic tutor with over three years of experience teaching students from elementary through high school and college across multiple Pennsylvania locations. I specialize in Science subjects such as AP Biology, AP Chemistry, and AP Psychology, as well as elementary and middle school Math. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Arcadia University and a Master of Science from Drexel University, where I also conducted research in genetics and neuroscience.

Tutoring Style

My tutoring style is student-centered, focusing on understanding each learner’s unique strengths and challenges. I always start by assessing a student’s current academic level to tailor lessons that fit their learning style. I use clear explanations, real-world examples, and repetition to reinforce difficult topics until the student feels confident. I also encourage students to view mistakes as valuable learning opportunities that help strengthen understanding and test performance.

Success Story

One of my most rewarding experiences was working with a high school student who was struggling in AP Chemistry and had lost confidence in her science abilities. Through consistent sessions, breaking down complex science concepts into manageable steps, and connecting chemistry to real-life examples, her confidence and grades steadily improved. By the end of the semester, she not only earned an A in the class but also received a 5 on her AP Chemistry exam and expressed newfound enthusiasm and joy in Chemistry by joining a Chemistry laboratory group over the summer. Seeing her transformation reminded me why I love teaching and mentoring students toward their potential.
