I am a Certified Math Teacher that is also Certified in Educational Leadership with 12 years of experience in education. I have a bachelor's degree in Finance and a bachelor's degree in Accounting from THEE Southern University and A & M College. I tutor 5th - 9th grade students in Math.

Tutoring Style

I am a very passionate teacher who takes care about the success of each student. I believe that every student can learn math, and it is just a matter of figuring out how each student learns. My tutoring style adapts to each student based on his/her needs. I will help you master the current skill being taught as well as fill as many gaps as we can along the way!

Success Story

One of my favorite success stories is when I helped an 8th grade student finally reach a math goal that he has been trying to reach for a long time. This student was brilliant in every subject but struggled severely in math before coming to me. In order to get into his desired high school, he needed to reach a Mastery on the state test which he had never done before. We met 4 times a week during the spring semester, and at the end of the school year, he received his first Mastery in Math on the state test. He is now thriving in his desired high school!
