I am a mathematics professor and experienced tutor who has worked with students at all levels, from basic algebra to advanced calculus and beyond. Students often note that I am patient, enthusiastic, and thorough, and that I make math more understandable and less intimidating. I prioritize creating a supportive environment where questions are encouraged and confidence can grow alongside skills.

Success Story

One of my favorite success stories involved a student in a basic algebra course who came in struggling and unsure of their ability to succeed in math. She had a history of difficulty with the subject and often felt overwhelmed by tests and homework. We worked consistently on breaking problems down step-by-step, reviewing key concepts, and building confidence through practice and encouragement. By the end of the semester, she not only passed the course but shared that it was the first time math had ever felt "easy to understand" and even enjoyable for her. She later earned her nursing degree and currently works as an RN.

Hobbies & Interests

Outside of tutoring, I’m a big fan of classic television - especially game shows. I actually collect and watch them, with over 15,000 episodes in my personal archive, and I love hosting game nights inspired by them. I also enjoy cooking, reading (everything from humor and trivia to historical fiction and biographies), and exploring bookstores. In my downtime, you’ll often find me going on walks, listening to music, or watching comedy films and documentaries. And true to form, I genuinely enjoy reading math books and working through problems as a way to relax.
