Hello! I am a certified elementary and special education teacher with over five years of classroom experience. Most of my experience has been in special education, working as an interventionist to create personalized instructional materials for individuals and small groups to best support each student's learning needs. I tutor all elementary subjects as well as middle and high school English/Language Arts.

Tutoring Style

I’m a patient and passionate tutor who believes every student can succeed with the right support. I tailor my approach to each learner’s needs, creating a positive and encouraging environment where they feel confident to grow. My goal is to build both skills and self-belief, helping students reach their full potential at their own pace.

Success Story

I worked with a student before school to build her confidence and skills in test-taking strategies, particularly with problem solving and independently recalling steps to answer questions. She initially struggled to break down problems on her own, so we spent several weeks practicing targeted strategies tailored to her learning style. On a later exam, she confidently applied the tools we had developed and earned a near-perfect score. It was a proud moment that showed how consistent support and the right strategies can lead to real growth.

Hobbies & Interests

In my free time, I love cooking and baking—baking especially brings me so much joy and a sense of peace. It’s one of my favorite creative outlets. When I’m not in the kitchen, I enjoy spending time with friends and family or doing just about anything outdoors!
