I am a certified math teacher with more than a decade of experience in teaching elementary to high school students. I am licensed in the Philippines and a Single Subject Credential holder in California. I tutor Math to grades 3-11.

Tutoring Style

I believe that as a teacher, students should be met on their level to succeed. I adapt my teaching style to the needs of my students while making sure that they are not being left behind. I also go back or review the basics every now and then so I know which topics need more attention. I make sure that the students learn what they needed to learn at that specific time before letting them go.

Success Story

I had the opportunity to tutor one of the students from my previous school when he was in ninth grade. I helped him with Integrated Math 1 and we did a lot of reviews of math topics because he was in sixth grade level as per the school assessment. After the school year, his parents decided that it was time for him to go back to school in person and this student requested to be put in my classes for Integrated Math 2! He even enrolled in another elective Math class after that next school year because he's confident enough already with his skills.
