I am a certified teacher with over six years of experience teaching in both traditional classrooms and virtual learning environments. I specialize in a wide range of subjects, including Algebra, Geometry, Biology, Chemistry, Earth and Environmental Science, Anatomy & Physiology, and Biochemistry. I hold a B.A. in Psychology and Neuroscience from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, B.S. degrees in Biology and Chemistry from University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and a Master of Science in Biology from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University.

Success Story

One of my favorite tutoring success stories involved a college student who was struggling in Biochemistry and had failed their first exam. After identifying the areas where they were having difficulty, we met regularly to break down complex concepts into manageable pieces and worked through practice problems until they felt confident. Over time, their understanding and test-taking skills improved significantly, and they began earning top scores on subsequent exams. By the end of the semester, they had raised their grade and successfully finished the course with an A.

Hobbies & Interests

When I am not tutoring, I enjoy staying active by working out and following all kinds of sports. As a former Division I football player and wrestler, athletics have always been a big part of my life and continue to shape my discipline and competitive mindset. I also love playing Pokémon GO with my older daughter, which gives us a fun way to spend quality time together. Most importantly, I enjoy making memories with my wife and two daughters, whether we are relaxing at home, spending time outdoors, or exploring new activities as a family.
