I am a certified educator in multiple areas of education with more than a decade of teaching and tutoring experience. Throughout my career, I have worked to help students strengthen their academic skills, overcome learning challenges, and develop the confidence needed to succeed. My educational background includes multiple master’s degrees, and I am currently completing my doctorate in Education, further expanding my knowledge of effective instructional practices, student development, and educational strategies.With my extensive experience and continued dedication to professional growth, I bring a well-rounded, student-centered approach to instruction. I am passionate about creating supportive learning experiences that meet students at their individual academic levels while encouraging critical thinking, independence, and long-term success.

My tutoring philosophy centers on building strong, positive relationships with each student and taking the time to understand their unique learning needs, strengths, and challenges. I believe that every student learns differently, which is why I prioritize identifying the teaching strategies and learning environments that work best for each individual.

By meeting students where they are academically and adapting my instructional approach to their individual learning styles, I strive to make lessons engaging, accessible, and meaningful. I recognize that personalized instruction is essential to helping students reach their full potential, and I adjust my strategies to ensure each learner receives the guidance and support they need.

My goal is to create a supportive, encouraging, and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, building confidence, and developing the skills necessary to achieve lasting academic success.

Success Story

One of my most rewarding educational success stories involved collaborating with my former principal to develop and implement a student support program at a low-performing high school. We recognized that many students were struggling academically and needed additional guidance, encouragement, and targeted instruction to get back on track toward graduation.

Together, we created a program focused on providing individualized tutoring, strengthening foundational academic skills, and preparing students for required graduation assessments. Through consistent academic support and a commitment to meeting students where they were, we worked to help students overcome obstacles, rebuild their confidence, and recognize that graduation was an achievable goal.

Our efforts contributed to an incredible milestone: the school's graduation rate increased by 35% in just one year. While that improvement was a significant accomplishment, the most meaningful part of the experience was watching students reach a milestone that would stay with them for the rest of their lives.

Seeing students walk across the stage, receive their diplomas, and celebrate their achievements reinforced why I am so passionate about education. For me, tutoring is about more than improving grades or passing exams. It is about helping students recognize their potential, overcome challenges, and achieve life-changing academic milestones.

Hobbies & Interests

Outside of teaching and tutoring, I love spending time with my animals! I have two silly, fun-loving dogs who keep me entertained and busy with their daily adventures. I also have a horse that I enjoy caring for and spending quality time with. Whether I'm tending to their needs or simply enjoying their company, my animals bring a great deal of joy, laughter, and fulfillment to my everyday life.
