I am a certified teacher with several years of experience in the classroom. After having my own family, I stayed home to raise my kids, and returned to tutoring, both in person and online, in 2021.

Tutoring Style

I am a nurturing person by nature, and I would consider myself conventional and traditional. I enjoy getting to know my students and learning about their interests and hobbies.

Success Stories

When COVID forced many schools to go remote, I began tutoring very young students in person. Two students in particular stick out in my mind: one first grader who was really having trouble reading and a kindergartner who had difficulty with letter recognition. After working with them for some time, both students were reading at grade level and sent me cards telling me that they will always remember me as the teacher who taught them to read.
