I am a nationally board-certified teacher with 15 years of experience teaching mathematics in all subjects, from Pre-Algebra to AP Calculus. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and a Master's degree in Secondary Education. I tutor grades 6-College.

I am an experienced teacher with a diversified learning portfolio. I am able to explain mathematical concepts in a variety of ways, ensuring students receive instruction that works for their learning preferences. I support students by building up their confidence and fluency, encouraging them to persevere through difficult problems.

Success Story

One of my favorite success stories occurred during the 20-21 school year when I helped a student through AP Calculus. This school year was particularly challenging for the student as the shutdown that happened during the initial Covid outbreak meant that this student missed an entire quarter of Pre-Calculus curriculum the year before. I tutored them once weekly to fill in the gaps of missing curriculum while prepping for the AP exam. This student was able to pass the exam in May and just began working as an engineer for Space X after completing his bachelors degree this past spring.
