I am a creative children's book author dedicated to supporting the education of all students! I have national experience primarily in teaching and tutoring elementary students. I have an Associate's degree in Merchandising and Management and a Bachelor's degree in International Trade and Marketing, with a double minor in Psycholgy and Economics.
I am a compassionate educator who prioritizes understanding each student's needs. My goal is to create a fun and engaging learning experience tailored to them! I approach my students with patience and kindness, always wishing the best for each individual. I am dedicated to helping my students progress and build confidence in their ability to learn!
As an elementary reading tutor, I had the joy of witnessing significant growth in my students. For fun, they participated in one-minute timed readings. In just a few short months, many of my students were reading over 70 more words per minute than they were at the start of our tutoring sessions. It is a great blessing to see my students succeed!
As a substitute teacher, I had the opportunity to cover a 4th-grade class for an educator who was serving jury duty. Since the duration of her leave was uncertain, I was determined to teach the new material on fractions to ensure the students didn’t fall behind. We crafted engaging word problems to accompany our examples, fostering a deeper understanding of the concepts. When the homeroom teacher returned, she was so happy to see the progress her students had made!
I am a proud children's book author with a passion for creative writing! I enjoy studying Native American art and culture, which continually inspire my work. I have a deep appreciation for Mother Nature and all her creations—especially my Dachshund, who is truly a gift from God. I find joy in giving back to the community as a volunteer Sunday School teacher!
