I am a certified teacher with 10 years of classroom experience teaching mathematics to students of different age groups and learning levels. I also have experience tutoring middle school science and teaching English as a second language (ESL) to children. I earned my bachelor’s degree in the Philippines and completed 31 units toward a Master of Arts in Teaching Mathematics.

Tutoring Style

I’m a passionate and patient teacher who enjoys helping students learn and improve at their own pace. I adjust the way I teach depending on what each student needs, whether that means slowing down and reviewing lessons carefully or challenging them with more advanced work. I always try to create a comfortable and supportive learning environment where students feel confident asking questions and making mistakes while learning. My goal is to help students understand the lesson, build confidence, and do well in school through practice, encouragement, and consistency.

Success Story

One of my favorite tutoring success stories was helping a middle school student who was really struggling with math and had already fallen behind in class. At first, he would get frustrated easily and lacked confidence whenever we worked on problem-solving. We started meeting regularly, reviewing concepts step by step and practicing consistently until he became more comfortable with the lessons. After a few months, his grades improved significantly, but what made me happiest was seeing him become more confident and willing to participate in class on his own.

Hobbies & Interests

When I’m not tutoring, I enjoy traveling and exploring new places whenever I get the chance. I also like binge-watching movies and TV shows to relax after a busy day. Sometimes, I just enjoy going for a walk, especially when I want to clear my mind and unwind.
