I am a licensed teacher with nearly 30 years of classroom experience teaching math from 7th grade through Algebra 1. I have a degree in Political Science from Sonoma State University in California.

Tutoring Style

I am a structured, yet creative tutor. I am happy to present information in unique ways to help students grasp the content. I strive to make math accessible to all students regardless of where they are starting from.

Success Story

One of my success stories was when I worked afterschool with one of my students to catch up in math. Then we moved to her acceleration in math. She ended up working well above her grade level. A few years ago she was hired at my school as the 6th grade teacher and she got to start working with students of her own.
