I have been tutoring since 2000, specializing in nearly every area of mathematics and working with students of all ages and academic levels. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Statistics from Lehigh University, and I bring decades of experience helping students strengthen their math skills, build confidence, and achieve their academic goals.

Tutoring Style

My tutoring style is interactive and personalized, with a focus on understanding what each student already knows before introducing new concepts. My first priority is ensuring that students truly understand the material, while also making lessons engaging, approachable, and enjoyable. With many years of tutoring experience, I understand that every student learns differently, so I tailor each session to the student's individual learning style, interests, strengths, and prior knowledge.

Success Stories

One of my favorite tutoring success stories began early in my career when I started working with a 7-year-old student who was academically advanced for his age and needed more challenging material than he was receiving in school. I had the privilege of supporting him throughout his academic journey into high school, continually adapting our work as his mathematical abilities grew. He went on to graduate from Rice University, complete medical school, and become a doctor. Watching a student I began tutoring at such a young age grow into a successful professional remains one of the most rewarding experiences of my tutoring career.

Hobbies & Interests

I enjoy exercising, spending time outdoors, playing games, solving challenging puzzles, and listening to music. I am also passionate about team sports and enjoy both watching and writing about them.
